Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather we may be required to cancel the camp program for all or part of the day.
Entire Day
If the weather forecast calls for sustained, heavy rains, snow or ice, we be required to cancel the program for the day. We may also be required to cancel the camp program if permission to use the fields or facilities is revoked. In the case that any event requires cancellation, parents will be notified by a message on the Commonwealth Soccer Programs weather hotline at least 1 hour before the program begins. Commonwealth Soccer Programs will also endeavor to e-mail and telephone all participants when possible.
Partial Day
If a camp program has started, and there are unexpected changes in the weather that require cancellation, we will update the hotline with the cancellation information. We will also call ALL parents to notify them of the cancellation. We encourage parents to make arrangements for the pick-up of their children, if the weather suddenly turns nasty or if lightning or tornadoes warnings are issued. Parents should take care in supplying Commonwealth Soccer Programs with reachable contact numbers.
Make Up
In the event of cancellation, we will attempt to make up the time by extending the camp program or by providing campers the option of attending an alternative camp program. Commonwealth Soccer Programs will notify all participants of their options in the case of any cancellation. You can also call Commonwealth Soccer Programs to determine the method of making up time.
