Clinics
During the course of the year, CSP offers theme clinics to help players keep their touch on the ball. These clinics are also offered to expand ideas within their "Soccer brains" and refine technical skills. This is done by a mechanical breakdown of professional moves and skills and then taught in segments. These segments are slowly put together to recreate the whole. Players are encouraged to do it slow and do it right, to ensure proper technique. The final piece of the puzzle is to increase the technical speed through repetition.
Winter Holiday Clinics - (Ages 4 to 14)
The Winter Holiday Camp is a two day version of the Spring Break and Summer Camps. The idea is let players experience soccer indoors rather than being confined indoors while out of school. Professional coaches will work on technical skills in a fun atmosphere.
Spring Break Camps & Summer Camps - (Ages 4 to 18)
Lil' Kicks: (Ages 4-6 from 9-12pm) The activities for this camp will be geared toward constant and fun activities involving a soccer ball. Instruction will be focused on individual ball control, peer relations, and following rules. This is a half day program.
Player's Camp: (Ages 7-14 from 9-3:30pm) This camp is designed for recreational players who want to increase their skill and knowledge of the game. Activities for these players will be fun and more instructional in content. Curriculum for this camp includes but is not limited to Individual Ball Control, Passing, Shooting, Principles of Possession, and Defending. Players at this camp will be grouped by their age and ability. This program is a full day program.
Finishing/Goaltending Camp: (Ages 10-18 from 9-3:30pm) This camp is designed to teach the technical skills and tactical decisions that are needed in, and around the goal area. This includes teaching players the concepts needed to be better goal scorers and better goalkeepers. Instruction for this camp will be very focused and intensive towards the needs of the player. Players will be grouped by age and position (Forwards and Goaltenders).
Midfielder/Playmaker's Camp: (Ages 10-18 from 9-3:30pm) This camp is designed to teach the technical skills and tactical decisions that are needed in, and around the midfield area. This includes teaching players the concepts needed to maintain possession, break down defenses, and beat the offsides rule. Instruction for this camp will be very focused and intensive towards the needs of the player. Players will be grouped by age.
Team Training - (U9 to U18)
This is an opportunity for coaches and teams to bounce ideas off of our staff. Anything that you or your team needs done can be accomplished through our team camp. An interview will be conducted with the coach to figure out what needs to be addressed. Then a written questionnaire will follow. A CSP staff person will then develop a detailed lesson plan that is custom tailored to your needs. During the training our staff will implement the lesson plan for maximum results.
Topics include but are not limited to speed of play, numerical supremacy, transition, finishing, technique, and combination play.
Private Lessons - (Ages 8 to 16)
When a trainer works with a team they typically have to deal with between 12 and 18 players. Team training sessions are an ideal environment to coach team tactics but it can be difficult to give maximum attention to individual skill development. With CSP's individual and small group training your child can receive the individual attention they need and deserve.
Individual training may be used to brush up on existing skills before an important tryout or as a means to progressively improve a players technical skills. Players may already be aware of areas they wish to improve upon or a CSP trainer can attend a game and evaluate the player prior to, or during the individual training program. Players must register for at least 1 block (three progressive sessions).
